The consulting engineers' company around Michael Lanz has its origins back in 2006. Northern Design & Engineering, also known by the abbreviation NDE, has been managed by Michael Lanz and Jeremy Kerpe since 2023. The company is located directly on the Kiel Canal (NOK) at Pier 100.
The focus is on the area of technical installation and equipment for new builds, repairs and conversions in the maritime environment of:

We offer a wide range of topics for internships and studies, both in shipbuilding and mechanical engineering. We also offer cooperation and support for final theses.
Design / Engineering:
There are currently no specific vacancies. However, we are open to qualified and motivated applicants.
You have good knowledge and experience in the field of shipbuilding with a focus on shipbuilding equipment & furnishings and are familiar with common CAD programs such as ACAD, Rhinoceros, Inventor and Solidworks and strenght calculations.
